Volunteer
The Pride Planning Board meets all year long but it takes 75-100 volunteers to make the Parade and Pridefest happen. If you want to get involved and even volunteer for an a hour or so, you can make a difference in how successful Pride Day is for everyone. It is a great way to meet people if you are new in town and want to see how Pride is run. We have lots of ways to say thank you - a volunteer dinner, cool t-shirt, volunteer party, certificate and our undying gratitude. Let us know what you like to work on and we can find a spot for you. Call or e-mail us to get on the volunteer list.

Come Out
Even though Pride may look like just a fun party, it has an important purpose in the community. As we grow, the rest of the city of Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico realize the incredible diversity and strength of our GLBTQ community. Just your presence makes a difference. Every year, we hear about someone who never knew there was such a community out there. Or people meet and start new relationships. Or politicans realize they need to listen to our voices when we speak. Even if its just for the fun of it, come out, come out, come out and show us who you are by attending Albuquerque Pride.
