Built in 1892 by George Vanderbiltís lawyer, the inn has been completely updated, blending period dÈcor with modern comforts: whirlpool tubs (most double) and separate showers in every en suite bathroom, guest-controlled thermostats for the central heating and air conditioning in the main house, fireplaces in all the rooms (and in several bathrooms), cable TV, and phones with dataports.
