The downstairs Garden Studio provides a self-sufficient, lovely, relaxing sanctuary for one or two women for short or long-term stays up to six months. It has a separate entrance and overlooks the garden and hummingbird feeder. We have a small pond in the back yard that runs during the summer months. The Studio is a 10 minute walk to Puget Sound and lovely Seahurst Park. It is approximately 7 minutes West from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Airport noise is not an issue.

Included in the studio are a 20" TV, VCR, DVD player; complete set of bedroom and bathroom linens; full kitchen with a stove, microwave, sink, and small under-the-counter refrigerator with a small freezer; kitchen table and chairs; silverware, and basic cooking utensils; tea and coffee pots; dishes, glasses and cups; iron and small ironing board; vacuum cleaner, broom, mop and basic cleaning supplies; small radio/CD player; small bookcase with local Seattle information and relaxation reading; small table and 2 TV trays; desk and office chair and desk lamp; queen size bed and armoire; bathroom with a shower, no bathtub; small sofa & rocking chair overlooking the garden;candlelabra in the fireplace;motion-detector lighting to help guide you around the side of the house at night.



Electronics Information
You will need your own cell phone since we do not provide a phone line.

We provide high-speed internet access via a Wireless Network. You will need a wireless network card, either 802.11B or 802.11G, in your PC or MAC. The wireless network name in the form of an SSID will be provided. We do not provide computer support.

All efforts will be made to provide 24-hour wireless connectivity. Local power outages and or DSL outages, network and/or computer upgrades along with life situations (vacation or illness) may result in no network connection. The King County Library is a few blocks away and has great Internet connections.
