Vulcano is in Guayaquil not Quito as the listing says. It is about three blocks west of the Hotel Ramada which is right on the Malecon
(in itself a very cruisy place).
It costs $7.00 for cover but they give you
two tickets for drinks (either two beers, or if you get liquor, they take both tickets). The music is pretty much the same as in clubs in the USA interspersed with a good mix of Salsa and Meringue, of course. IF you like latin guys, especially Ecuadorians, THIS IS the place! It is really nothing special inside, very utilitarian and basic so dont expect anything really fancy. But they have done the best they can with the space they have. Really

clientele on Fridays and Saturday nights. Truly a part of the Pearl of the Pacific. :)
